In what some are calling the "win of the century," a local man managed to squirt hand sanitizer directly into his eye, missing his hands altogether and avoiding severely burning his hands. "It's truly a miracle," Justin ran out of soap earlier in the day and decided to go ahead and use the hand sanitizer. "I think I was just in the right place at the right time. I had no idea it burned this bad. My hands would have been toast."

Justins eye was completely red, swollen shut, and burned for hours-He decided to head to the hospital to have to checked out. "Justin had a corneal abrasion, which is a scratch on the surface of the eye," Dr. Phil has seen this many times. "He got super lucky. Imagine if it had gotten onto his hands! He's currently dealing with sharp pain and inflammation but should get better in a few days with antibiotic eye drops. Justin has unreal luck!"

All of us here at Channel 2 news are just so relieved Justin is okay, and the hand sanitizer went straight into his eye, instead of his hands, where it really could have done some damage.
