2 lanes on I-80 Closed Northbound through March 2025 for Filming of the Next Big Construction Movie

HENDERSON, NV-I-80 northbound will experience 2 lane closures starting this weekend through March 2025 for the filming of the next big construction movie. This will be "Construction Movie 9 Part two, Under Construction" and will be the 20th movie in the film series. It's anticipated to be the biggest in the franchise since "Construction Movie 6, Part 3: Demolition" came out in 2004 after filming caused road closures on main street for over 3 years.

"I've been waiting for this construction to start since Will Smith starred in "Construction Movie 8, I am Legend." I was hooked on the series ever since I saw that in theaters." Lexy, 38, Has seen all 19 movies in the franchise. "I always pull over at construction sites to see what the're filming and take pictures. Everyone is so talented behind and in front of the camera. The whole series is incredible."

The filming will start at 6am in rural areas, cause detours, and take an extremely long filming break in the winter. I remember seeing construction movie 2-the foundation in theaters when I was 6. I cried through the whole thing. yeah. it was good.
