Scary: Woman Camping Personally Attacked by Bear

SEATTLE-On Thursday, local woman Cindy was camping with her family when she was personally attacked by a bear.

"I'm not sure what set the bear off-I was enjoying some time around the campfire with my family when I saw the bear approaching. I thought she was headed our way to make conversation, but as she got closer, I could tell something was off."

The bear angrily approached Cindy and proceeded to make rude comments on her appearance and parenting choices, even questioning her intelligence and character. "I have never been attacked this personally by a bear before."

Cindy reported that the bear texted her the next morning, saying she was just having an off day and felt bad about the personal attacks.
