Referee Store Will Invent New Sports to Generate More Sales

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA-In an effort to generate more sales, a local referee store decides to invent new sports. “It's the perfect solution,” said Dan Goodwin, owner of the referee store. “I was getting tired of the typical sports like soccer and basketball anyway.” According to the World Sports Encyclopedia, there are 8,000 different sports and games. Dan is excited to introduce 50 new sports over the next 30 days.

“At first, I was skeptical of the idea. I wasn’t sure I was ready to get into the business of making new sports. But then I thought, that’s probably what everyone thinks right before they invent a new sport.”

The 50 new sports are projected to open up 4,000 referee jobs in the state alone, and Dan is excited to be opening 3 more referee store locations.
